I remember seeing his work years ago in a coffee shop for sale. Doh! Now he has stuff at Target. You might have seen his work at Slanted Door. I like it, I am sure it is not hip to say that, but it reminds me of surf board or skateboard art in a lot of ways. More info.
The City is going to run a pilot that will divert all East bound (towards Ferry Building) traffic off of Market Street. Sorry, what’s the point? I didn’t think there was much traffic on Market to begin with. Does the city realize that you end up on Mission, from which you can’t take any left turns….EVER…..so you’ll end up going around the block to get on to 3rd or 7th going north. I think this is going to cause a major headache. They should either completely close down traffic and only allow Muni or they should not change anything. More information.
